(LONG POND, PA) - The NASCAR Sprint Cup Series is at Pocono for Sunday’s Pennsylvania 500.

Two practices are scheduled for this afternoon with qualifying on Saturday morning. It is the first race following Paul Menard's stunning win last Sunday at Indianapolis.

Greg Biffle is the defending Pennsylvania 500 champion while Jeff Gordon won the June race at Pocono.

Carl Edwards is the points leader while Dale Earnhardt Jr. holds a 19-point edge on Denny Hamlin for tenth place in points.

The top ten in points are guaranteed spots in the twelve-driver Chase for the Sprint Cup.
Six races remain before the chase.
