Fever Look To Stay Hot Against Silver Stars

(SAN ANTONIO, TX) - The Indiana Fever go for their eighth win in nine games tonight when they face the San Antonio Silver Stars in Texas.

The Fever improved to 17-7 with their win over New York Saturday night at Conseco Fieldhouse.

Indiana enters play tonight a game and-a-half over second place Connecticut in the Eastern Conference.

The Silver Stars are 13-10 and are tied with Phoenix for second place in the West, five games behind first-place Minnesota.

It is the second time in a week that the Fever and the Silver Stars have squared off.

Indiana won last Tuesday night's game 81-68 in Indianapolis.

San Antonio has four players scoring in double figures led by all-star guard Becky Hammon's 16.8 points-per-game average.

Tamika Catchings leads Indiana with a 15 points-per-game average and is coming off a season-high 32-point effort in the Fever's win over the Liberty.
