Castro Homers For Lone Run As Cubs Clip Pirates 1-0

(PITTSBURGH, PA) - Starlin Castro's solo home run in the top of the eighth inning as the Chicago Cubs blanked the Pittsburgh Pirates 1-0.

The game was a pitchers' duel between Pittsburgh's Charlie Morton and Chicago's Matt Garza.

Neither starter allowed a run with both going seven innings.

Castro hit his homer off Pirates reliever Chris Resop, who took the loss to fall to 3-3.

Garza gets the win to move to 5-8 as the Cubs have won four games in a row.

Pittsburgh has dropped five straight.
