IU Football Gets Commitment From Columbus East's Kiel

(COLUMBUS, IN) - New Indiana University Football Coach Kevin Wilson has scored a big win on the recruiting trail.

IU has secured a commitment from Columbus East quarterback Gunner Kiel.

Kiel, a 6-foot-4, 220-pound senior is the top ranked high school quarterback prospect in the nation and was being pursued by Alabama, Missouri, Oklahoma and Tennessee in addition to the Hoosiers.

Kiel is the nephew of former Notre Dame and Indianapolis Colts quarterback Blair Kiel and his brother, Dusty, is currently a quarterback for the Hoosiers.
