White Sox Pick Up Sixth Straight Win At Fenway Park

(BOSTON, MA) - Alexei Ramirez went 4-5 with three runs batted in as the Chicago White Sox held off a late Boston rally to defeat the Red Sox 10-7.

Juan Pierre added a two-run single as the White Sox won their sixth game in a row at Boston's Fenway Park, their longest such streak since the late 1950's.

Chicago starter Phillip Humber allowed four runs over seven and two-thirds innings to get the win and improve to 4-3 on the season.

David Ortiz hit a three-run homer in the eighth as Boston scored six of its seven runs over the final two innings.
