Pena Knocks In Lone Run As Yankees Edge Tribe At Victory Field

Last updated on Thursday, June 2, 2011

(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - Ramiro Pena’s RBI groundout in the eighth inning was the difference as the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Yankees blanked the Indianapolis Indians 1-0.

DJ Mitchell allowed three hits over his seven shutout innings to pick up the win, improving to 4-3.

Dan Brewer led off the Yankees' eighth with a double to left and Luis Nunez followed with a single that moved brewer to third.

After Indians reliever Tony Watson got Austin Krum to groundout, Pena hit a ground ball to first that allowed Brewer to score the game's lone run.

The four-game series wraps up tonight at Victory Field.
