Former Pacer Jackson Named Head Coach Of Warriors

(OAKLAND, CA) - Mark Jackson was named the head coach of the Golden State Warriors yesterday.

The former Indiana Pacer and television analyst signed a three-year, six-million dollar contract with Golden State.

He replaces Keith Smart, who was terminated in April following a 36-win season.

Jackson will finish his duties as commentator for the NBA Finals before embarking on the first head coaching assignment of his career.
