(ST. LOUIS, MO) - Skip Schumaker’s infield single capped a three-run rally in the bottom of the eighth as the St. Louis Cardinals came from behind to edge the San Francisco Giants 4-3.
Albert Pujols and Allen Craig hit RBI doubles earlier in the eighth before Schumaker's dribbler between first and second base scored Craig with the go-ahead run.
Jon Jay also had an RBI single for St. Louis with Freddy Sanchez and Cody Ross hitting run-scoring singles for the Giants.
