(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - Alex Tagliani was fastest in Monday’s practice for the Indianapolis 500.
Tagliani, who drives for Sam Schmidt Motorsports, turned in a lap of 225.878 miles an hour to top the speed chart.
Ganassi Racing's Scott Dixon and Graham Rahal were second and third, respectively, with Team Penske's Ryan Briscoe and Newman Haas' Oriol Servia rounding out the top five.
Practice continues today at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway from noon to six o'clock eastern daylight time.
