(CINCINNATI, OH) - The Cincinnati Reds erupted for seven runs in the bottom of the sixth as they came from behind to defeat the Chicago Cubs 7-4.
The Cubs scored two runs off Reds starter Homer Bailey in the fifth and Carlos Pena hit a two-run homer off Bailey in the sixth as Chicago built a 4-0 lead.
Chicago starter Carlos Zambrano retired the first Cincinnati batter in the sixth before giving up four singles, a walk, and a game-tying two-run double to Scott Rolen that probably should have been caught by Alfonso Soriano.
Marcos Mateo relieved Zambrano at this point and threw a wild pitch past Jonny Gomes' head that allowed Jay Bruce to score from third with the go-ahead run.
Gomes then hit a two-run homer to right field to cap the rally and give the Reds their fourth-straight victory.
Bailey got the win to improve to 3-0 while Zambrano took the loss to fall to 4-2.
