Pineiro Shuts Down White Sox, Snapping Three Game Win Streak

(ANAHEIM, CA) - Alberto Callaspo drove in three runs, Maicer Izturis homered as the Los Angeles Angels beat the Chicago White Sox 6-2.

Joel Pineiro pitched seven and two-thirds innings, allowing two runs on eight hits to improve to 2-0 on the season.

Paul Konerko hit a solo home run, his ninth of the season, as the White Sox saw their three-game winning streak come to an end.

John Danks took the loss for Chicago as he falls to 0-6.
