Hannahan And Marson's Clutch Hits Leads Cleveland Past Oakland

(OAKLAND, CA) - Jack Hannahan and Lou Marson hit RBI singles in the top of the twelfth inning as the Cleveland Indians held off the Oakland Athletics 4-3.

Oakland's Daric Barton broke a scoreless tie with an RBI single in the fifth.

Cleveland took a 2-1 lead in the sixth on Asdrubal Cabrera's two-run single.

Ryan Sweeney tied the game with an RBI single in the eighth.

After the Indians took the lead in the twelfth, the A's clawed back off Cleveland closer Chris Perez.

Sweeney capped a 5-6 day with a two-out RBI single.

With the tying run on third and the winning run at first, Perez got pinch hitter Hideki Matsui to pop out to short to end the game.
