Last updated on Tuesday, May 31, 2011

(CINCINNATI, OH) - Jay Bruce homered again as the Cincinnati Reds knocked off the Milwaukee Brewers 7-3.

Bruce went 3 for 4, falling a double short of the cycle as he hammered a three-run homer off Milwaukee starter Chris Narveson in the fourth as the Reds built a 5-0 lead.

Bruce leads the National League in home runs with 16.

The Brewers scored all three of their runs in the fifth as Carlos Gomez and Josh Wilson hit solo homers and Ryan Braun added an RBI double off Reds starter Travis Wood.

Cincinnati got a pair of insurance runs in the sixth when an RBI single by Fred Lewis and a throwing error allowed two runs to score.

Wood picked up the win to move to 4-3 while Narveson takes the loss to drop to 2-4.
