(PHOENIX, AZ) - Stephen Drew’s grand slam in the bottom of the first keyed a seven-run inning for Arizona as the Diamondbacks pounded the Chicago Cubs 11-2.

Cubs starter Ryan Dempster recorded the shortest start of his career, retiring just one batter while being charged with all seven Arizona runs in the first inning.

Drew finished with a career-best five runs batted in with Miguel Montero adding a two-run homer and driving in three.

Koyie Hill hit a solo home run for the Cubs, who have lost four games in a row.
