Berkman Homers Twic As Cardinals Out Slug Astros

(HOUSTON, TX) - Lance Berkman hit two home runs and drove in five as the St. Louis Cardinals outslugged the Houston Astros 11-7.

Berkman's first homer was a three-run shot in the Redbirds' nine-run top of the sixth.

Matt Holliday singled twice and drove in three runs during that nine-run rally as the Cardinals took the final two games of the three-game series.

Chris Johnson hit a two-run homer with Hunter Pence and Carlos Lee also driving in two runs each for the Astros.
