Pacers Use Big Second Half To Blowout Bobcats

(CHARLOTTE, NC) - The Indiana Pacers strengthened their hold on the final eastern conference playoff berth with a 111-88 win over the Charlotte Bobcats.

Danny Granger led the way with 33 points as the Pacers overcame another sluggish start to pound the Bobcats in the second half.

Tyler Hansbrough added 24 points and Roy Hibbert had 13 points and 14 rebounds for Indiana.

DJ Augustin led Charlotte with 17 points with Kwame Brown finishing with 16 as the Bobcats lost their fourth game in a row.

Indiana holds a three-game lead over Charlotte and Milwaukee for eighth place in the Eastern Conference.

The Pacers are back home Friday night to host the Sacramento Kings.
