No Major Upsets In Day Two Of IHSAA Boys Basketball Tournament

(UNDATED) - Day two of the IHSAA Boys Basketball Tournament included no major upsets on Wednesday night.

Class 4A number one Munster easily won its sectional opener, defeating Gary West 69-48.

Second-ranked and defending 4A champion Indianapolis North Central also advanced, defeating eleventh-rated Broad Ripple 75-61.

Two other ranked teams in class 4A, Indianapolis Pike and Center Grove, advanced with easy wins.

The only ranked 3A team in action last night was Fort Wayne Concordia.

The Cadets pounded Angola 63-15 in the biggest blowout of the evening.

Other top-ten teams to advance were Tipton, Brownstown Central and Winchester in class 2A.

The tournament resumes on Friday night with sectional semifinals.
