(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - Notre Dame will face two-time defending champion Connecticut in Sunday's national semifinals of the NCAA Women's basketball tournament.

The top-seeded Huskies pounded number-two seed Duke 75-40 in the championship game of the Philadelphia Region to advance to the Final Four.

Uconn won all three games against the fighting Irish this season, sweeping both regular season games and beating Notre Dame 73-64 in the championship game of the Big East Tournament.

Overall, the Irish have lost twelve in a row to Uconn.

The other national semifinal game Sunday in Indianapolis will pit Texas A&M and Stanford.
