(BIRMINGHAM, AL) - The Izod IndyCar Series wrapped up two days of open testing at Barber Motorsports Park in Alabama on Tuesday.
Team Penske topped the speed chart both days with Helio Castroneves turning in the best lap of the two days during the final practice on Tuesday.
Castroneves' lap of 115.090 miles per hour was a tick faster than teammate Will Power.
Ganassi Racing's Scott Dixon was third quick followed by Penske's Ryan Briscoe with Newman-Haas' Oriol Servia rounding out the top five.
The IndyCar Series season begins March 27th at St. Petersburg.
