Brooks And Battle Lead Nittany Lions Past Hoosiers

(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - The Indiana Hoosiers’ season came to an end with a 61-55 loss to Penn State in the first round of the Big Ten Tournament.

Jeff Brooks led the Nittany Lions with 15 points with Talor Battle scoring 13 points and Andrew Jones finishing with twelve as Penn State overcame a strong first half by the Hoosiers and never trailed in the second half.

Christian Watford led IU with 15 points and Jordan Hulls scored nine points as the Hoosiers end their season by losing their final nine games.

Indiana finishes at 12-20. Penn State will play number-three seed Wisconsin in tonight's quarterfinals.
