Boilers Knock Hoosiers Out Of Big Ten Women's Tournament

(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - Purdue survived a scare from rival Indiana, edging the Hoosiers 66-62 in the first round of the Big Ten Women’s Basketball Tournament.

Brittany Rayburn scored 15 of her game-high 23 points in the second half as the Boilermakers overcame an eight-point deficit with ten minutes remaining in the game.

Drey Mingo added 21 as Purdue improves to 20-10.

Senior Jori Davis led IU with 21 points as the Hoosiers end their season with a 9-20 mark.

The Boilers will face number-two seed Penn State in this morning's first quarterfinal game.

Purdue swept the season series with the Nittany Lions.
