(DES MOINES, IA) - Ryan Wedel scored a career-high 29 points to lead the Drake Bulldogs to an 87-69 win over Evansville in Des Moines.
Drake jumped out to an early 14-4 lead and were never challenged, handing the Purple Aces their fourth-straight loss.
Colt Ryan led the Aces with 24 points as he hit all eleven of his free throw attempts.
Denver Holmes scored 13 points and Kenny Harris finished with eleven as Evansville falls to 14-14, 8-9 in Missouri Valley Conference play.
The Aces wrap up the regular season on Saturday afternoon when Illinois State is the opponent in the final game at Roberts Stadium.
