Rush's Last Second Dunk Leads Pacers Past Pistons

(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - Brandon Rush’s dunk with five and four-tenths of a second remaining gave the Indiana Pacers a 102-101 victory over the Detroit Pistons.

Austin Daye had give Detroit its first lead since the first quarter when he drained a jumper with eleven seconds left in regulation.

On the ensuing possession, Danny Granger found Rush open for the game-winner.

Tyler Hansbrough led Indiana with 21 points and twelve rebounds off the bench with Granger adding 18 points.

Greg Monroe scored a career-high 27 points and grabbed twelve boards to lead the pistons.

Indiana improves to 26-30 and lead ninth-place Charlotte by a game and-a-half for the final playoff spot.

The Pacers host the Utah Jazz on Friday night.
