Panthers Knock Crusaders Out Of First Place In Horizon League

(MILWAUKEE, WI) - The Valparaiso Crusaders fell out of first place in the Horizon League as they lost to the Milwaukee Panthers 79-76 in Milwaukee.

Tone Boyle led the Panthers with 28 points with Anthony Hill adding 18 points and ten rebounds as Milwaukee won its seventh game in a row.

Brandon Wood led the Crusaders with 23 points with Ryan Broekhoff scoring 21 and Howard Little finishing with 14 as Valpo saw its three-game winning streak come to an end.

The Crusaders fall to 19-8, 11-4 in league play as they drop a half-game behind Cleveland State in the standings.

Valparaiso hosts Missouri State in an ESPN Bracketbusters game on Saturday afternoon.
