Johnson And Moore Lead Boilermakers Past Hoosiers

(BLOOMINGTON, IN) - JaJuan Johnson scored 20 points and grabbed nine rebounds to lead eighth-ranked Purdue past Indiana 72-61 in Bloomington.

E'twaun Moore finished with 17 points with DJ Byrd adding eleven as the Boilermakers won their fifth game in a row.

Christian Watford led the Hoosiers with 18 points with Jordan Hulls scoring 15 points and Verdell Jones adding 13 as IU has lost five straight.

Purdue improves to 23-5, 12-3 in the Big Ten heading to their game with Michigan State Sunday afternoon in East Lansing.

Indiana falls to 12-16, 3-12 in the conference as they are at third-ranked Ohio State on Sunday afternoon.
