Wilson Adds Three More To Staff Of Assistants

(BLOOMINGTON, IN) - New Indiana University Football Coach Kevin Wilson continues to fill out his staff of assistants.

IU announced the additions of Rod Smith, Greg Frey and Jerry Montgomery to Wilson's staff on Thursday.

Smith and Frey both come from Rich Rodriguez's staff at Michigan while Montgomery was most recently at Wyoming.

Smith coached quarterbacks at Michigan and will have the same job with the Hoosiers as well as joining Kevin Johns as co-offensive coordinator.

Frey takes over as offensive line coach while Montgomery will coach the defensive tackles.

Wilson also announced that co-defensive coordinator and safeties coach Doug Mallory has been named assistant head coach.
