(TERRE HAUTE, IN) - Aaron Carter scored 14 points and Jake Odum added 13 to lead the Indiana State Sycamores past Illinois State 72-57 at the Hulman Center.
Jordan Printy went three-for-three from three-point range and finished with eleven points with RJ Mahurin scoring ten as the Sycamores even their record at 7-7 and improve to 2-1 in the Missouri Valley Conference.
Jackie Carmichael led Illinois State with a game-high 16 points as the Redbirds drop to 8-6, 0-3 in the MVC.
The Sycamores hit the road on Sunday to play the Drake Bulldogs.
