(TERRE HAUTE, IN) - Jake Kelly's three-point-play with six-tenths of a second remaining was the difference as the Indiana State Sycamores edged Missouri State 70-69.

ISU got the ball with just under five seconds remaining and Kelly drove to the basket, making a layup while being fouled by Missori State's Kyle Weems.

Kelly converted the free throw to give the Sycamores the win and move Indiana State into a tie for first place in the Missouri Valley Conference.

Aaron Carter led Indiana State with 19 points with Carl Richard scoring 18 as the Sycamores improve to 12-7, 7-1 in the MVC.

Nafis Ricks led Missouri State with 17 points as the Bears fall to 15-4, 7-1 in the conference.

ISU is at Wichita State on Saturday night.
