(FORT WAYNE, IN) - The IPFW Mastodons exploded for 63 points in the second half as they blew out SIU Edwardsville 107-79 in Fort Wayne.
The Dons led by just six at halftime before opening the second half with a 27-8 run.
Frank Gaines led the way with a career-high 22 points with Ben Botts and Oleg Kovalav scoring 16 points apiece.
Corey Wickware led the Cougars with 15 points with Cornelius Chatt adding twelve as SIU Edwardsville drops to 5-14.
IPFW improves to 11-5.
The Dons return to Summit League play on Saturday night when first-place Oakland comes to Memorial Coliseum.
