(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - The off-season is underway for the Indianapolis Colts after they were knocked out of the playoffs by the New York Jets on Saturday night.
Team President Bill Polian said on his weekly radio show that the front office is moving ahead and getting ready to evaluate the current roster and prepare for the draft in April.
The Colts will have the 22nd pick in the draft.
Looming over all of the preparation is the possibility of a work stoppage.
The Collective Bargaining Agreement between the league and the Players Association expires in early March.
No agreement could lead to a lockout which could push back the free agent signing period.
Also, the new CBA could create changes in salary cap rules, including the existence of franchise and transition tags.
