(FARGO, ND) - The IPFW Mastodons overcame a 14-point, second-half deficit to edge North Dakota State 84-80 in Fargo.
Ben Botts led the Dons with 21 points with Trey McCorkle finishing with 16 points and Zach Plackemeir adding 15 as IPFW improves to 12-6, 6-2 in Summit League play.
Michael Tveidt led North Dakota State with 14 points with Taylor Braun adding 13 as the Bison suffered their first home loss of the season, falling to 9-9 overall, 3-5 in the conference.
IPFW's road trip through the Dakotas continues on Saturday night when they travel to South Dakota State.
