(SOUTH BEND, IN) - It was a mismatch on paper and it was a mismatch on the court as 20th-ranked Notre Dame pounded winless Maryland-Baltimore County 93-53 at Purcell Pavilion.
Tim Abromaitis led the Fighting Irish with 21 points and eleven rebounds with Scott Martin finishing with 15 points and Carleton Scott adding twelve points.
Chirs de la Rosa led the Retrievers with 15 points as UMBC falls to 0-12.
Notre Dame has won three in a row to improve to 11-1.
The Irish are off until Wednesday night when they host Georgetown in their Big East opener.
