Bulldogs Win Third Straight Game, Knocking Off Utah In Honolulu

(HONOLULU, HI) - The Butler Bulldogs picked up their third win in a row, defeating the Utah Utes 74-62 in the first round of the Diamond Head Classic in Honolulu.

Matt Howard led all scorers with 23 points with Ronald Nored adding 16 points and Shelvin Mack finishing with 13.

Josh Watkins led the Utes with 17 points with Will Clyburn adding a double-double with 16 points and twelve boards as Utah falls to 7-4.

The Bulldogs improve to 7-4.

They will face the Florida State Seminoles in tonight's semifinals.

The Seminoles beat the host Hawaii Warriors early this morning.
