Hummel's Surgery Set, Plans To Return To Purdue Next Season

(WEST LAFAYETTE, IN) - Purdue forward Robbie Hummel will undergo surgery to repair the torn ACL in his right knee on November 16th in New York.

Hummel suffered the injury during Purdue's second practice on October 16th.

The senior from Valparaiso tore the same ligament last February 24th at Minnesota, ending his junior season.

Hummel has said he will redshirt this season and return for his final year of eligibility next year.
