(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - Colts defensive end Dwight Freeney is the AFC defensive player of the week.
Freeney recorded two sacks in the Colts' 30-17 win over Houston on Monday night.
Freeney's final sack wrapped up the victory as he stripped the football from Texans quarterback Matt Schaub with Eric Foster recovering the fumble with 57 seconds remaining.
It is the fifth time in his career that Freeney has won AFC player of the week honors.
