Collie Expected To Be Okay, No Fine Issued For Big Hit

(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - Colts receiver Austin Collie appears to be okay following a scary hit that led to the second-year player being removed from the field Sunday on a stretcher.

Head coach Jim Caldwell says Collie suffered a concussion but that the affects are subsiding.

Collie was well enough to travel home with the team on Sunday night.

The NFL announced that there would be no fines for Eagles safety Kurt Coleman, whose helmet to helmet hit knocked Collie out of the game.

A league spokesman says that Coleman's hit was the result of Collie being driven back into Coleman by a legal hit from safety Quintin Mikell.

Coleman was penalized for unnecessary roughness on the play.
