Manning And Colts To Negotiate Contract Extension After Season

Last updated on Monday, October 25, 2010

(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - The Indianapolis Colts and quarterback Peyton Manning will not be negotiating a new contract during the course of the 2010 season.

ESPN's chris Mortensen reports that Manning's agent Tom Conden traveled to Indianapolis and told Colts President Bill Polian that he was not interested in negotiating a new contract until after the season.

The report also says that Manning wants to avoid any distractions during the season and there have been "zero negotiations" up to this point.
