Garica's Strong Pitching Pushes White Sox Past Red Sox

(CHICAGO, IL) - Freddy Garcia threw seven strong innings to lead the Chicago White Sox past the Boston Red Sox 5-2.

Garcia allowed two runs on four hits to move to 12-6 on the season.

AJ Pierzynski hit a solo home run with Omar Vizquel, Juan Pierre and Alexei Ramirez adding RBI singles.

Mike Lowell hit a solo homer and David Ortiz had an RBI single for Boston.

Red Sox starter Josh Beckett gave up four runs on eleven hits in his six innings of work as he falls to 6-6.
