Cubs Used Balanced Offensive Attack To Knock Off Pirates

(CHICAGO, IL) - Koyie Hill, Kosuke Fukudome and Tyler Colvin hit run-scoring doubles to lead the Chicago Cubs to a 5-3 win over the Pittsburgh Pirates.

Micah Hoffpauir and Jeff Baker added RBI singles in the seventh inning to give Chicago some needed insurance runs.

Neil Walker hit a solo homer and Andrew McCutchen drove in a pair of runs for the Pirates who dropped two of three in the series.

Cubs starter Tom Gorzelanny left the game in the third inning after being hit on his pitching hand by a line drive.
