Six Run Second Inning Pushes Pirates Past Reds

(PITTSBURGH, PA) - Neil Walker capped Pittsburgh’s six-run bottom of the second with a three-run double as the Pirates held off the Cincinnati Reds 7-6 to snap a five-game skid.

Walker finished with four runs batted in with Chris Snyder adding a two-run single as the Bucs did all of their damage off Reds starter Mike Leake.

Brandon Phillips hit a two-run double and Chris Heisey drove in a pair of runs as Cincinnati had its three-game winning streak snapped.
