Brewers Edge Chicago To Hand Cubs Seventh Straight Loss

(CHICAGO, IL) - The Chicago Cubs’ losing streak is up to seven games as the Cubs fell to the Milwaukee Brewers 4-3.

Casey McGehee drove in two runs with Prince Fielder and starting pitcher Chris Narveson adding RBI singles for Milwaukee.

Narveson pitched into the sixth inning, allowing a run on six hits to improve to 9-7.

Kosuke Fukudome hit a solo homer, his ninth of the season, with Derrek Lee and Starlin Castro adding run-scoring singles for the Cubs.

Thomas Diamond, who was called up from Iowa to replace Carlos Silva on the roster, started and took the loss for Chicago.
