Last updated on Friday, July 9, 2010

(UNDATED) - Cincinnati Reds first baseman Joey Votto is headed to Tuesday night’s All-Star Game in Anaheim.

Votto was chosen by a fan vote for the final roster spot on the National League team, beating out Washington third baseman Ryan Zimmerman, Colorado outfielder Carlos Gonzalez and Atlanta closer Billy Wagner in the four-day internet vote.

The fifth "Final Vote" candidate in the National League, San Diego closer Heath Bell, was named to the team earlier in the week as an injury replacement.

New York Yankees outfielder Nick Swisher was the "Final Vote" winner in the American League, beating out White Sox first baseman Paul Konerko, Boston third baseman Kevin Youkilis, Texas third baseman Michael Young and Minnesota outfielder Delmon Young.
