(PHOENIX, AZ) - Alfonso Soriano hit a two-run home run and Kosuke Fukudome added a solo shot as the Chicago Cubs beat the Arizona Diamondbacks 9-4.
Starlin Castro added a two-run triple while Geovany Soto also drove in a pair of runs for Chicago.
Adam LaRoche hit a solo homer and Kelly Johnson drove in two runs for the D-Backs.
Tom Gorzelanny went five innings and picked up the win to improve to 3-5.
Ian Kennedy allowed seven runs over five and two-thirds innings to drop to 3-7.
