(PHOENIX, AZ) - Aramis Ramirez hit a three-run home run as the Chicago Cubs recorded their first-ever three-game sweep at Chase Field with an 8-3 victory over the Arizona Diamondbacks.
Starlin Castro had a two-run single as Chicago roughed up D-Backs starter Edwin Jackson for five runs in five innings.
Ryan Dempster allowed three runs on eight hits over five innings to pick up the win, evening his record at 7-7.
Jackson falls to 6-7.
