Jack Wilson and Chone Figgins singled off Jenks in the bottom of the frame and franklin Gutierrez' one-out single scored both runners as the Mariners avoided a three-game series sweep.

The Sox lead in the AL Central dips to two and a half games over Minnesota and Detroit.
