(ANAHEIM, CA) - In Major League Baseball, Boston Red Sox DH David Ortiz defeated Florida Marlins Shortstop Hanley Ramirez 11-5 in the final round to win the 25th annual Home Run Derby at Angel Stadium Monday night.
Ortiz tied former Angel Bobby Abreu for most homeruns in a final round with 11 homeruns.
Milwaukee Brewers outfielder Corey Hart got things started hitting 13 homers in the first round but it was Ortiz's 32 homerun performance that landed him his first homerun derby trophy.
