Braden Wins For First Time Since May As A's Edge White Sox

(OAKLAND, CA) - Dallas Braden won for the first time since his perfect game in May as the Oakland Athletics beat the Chicago White Sox 6-4.

Daric Barton and Kurt Suzuki each had two-run singles in the second inning.

Suzuki followed with another in the fourth.

Coco Crisp added the final run for the A's after a throwing error by White Sox pitcher Erick Threets who tried to pick off Crisp as he stole second base.

The White Sox scored three runs in the seventh off three straight RBI singles from Juan Pierre, Alexei Ramierez and Alex Rios.
