(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - Tomas Scheckter could fill in for Mike Conway at this weekend's race in Texas.
Dreyer and Reinbold Racing is looking for somebody to fill in for Conway, who will be out at least three months after fracturing his left leg and his back in a spectacular crash at last Sunday's Indianapolis 500.
Scheckter drove a third car for the team at Indianapolis and could join Justin Wilson in the Dreyer and Reinbold fold for the foreseeable future.
Team owner Dennis Reinbold tells the Indianapolis Star that Scheckter makes the most sense, but a contract has not been signed yet.
