Last updated on Wednesday, June 23, 2010

(CHICAGO, IL) - AJ Pierzynski and Omar Vizquel sparked a big inning as the Chicago White Sox won their seventh game in a row, beating the Atlanta Braves 9-6.

Atlanta jumped out to a 3-0 lead before the Sox scored five runs in the bottom of the second thanks to two-run singles from Pierzynski and Vizquel.

Carlos Quentin gave Chicago some breathing room in the fourth when he slammed a three-run homer off Atlanta starter Tommy Hanson.

Martin Prado and Brian McCann hit solo homers for the Braves with Brooks Conrad driving in three runs as Atlanta had its five-game winning streak snapped.
