(LOUDON, NH) - Izod IndyCar Series officials announced that the series will return to New Hampshire Motor Speedway in 2011.
The race will be held on July 30th of next year.
Series CEO Randy Bernard says the addition of New Hampshire fills a geographical gap by giving the IndyCar Series a race in the northeast as well as adding another short oval to compliment Iowa Speedway.
New Hampshire was a stop on the Cart schedule from 1992 through 1995 and was an original stop on the Indy Racing League schedule from 1996 through 1998.
